The Amarina Hotel is situated in the Northwest of Nosy Be at Amporaha. This exclusive hotel with its tropical gardens is perfect for the discerning traveller. Amarina Hotel is the ideal venue for clients looking for complete tranquillity, the hotel is very isolated.

All 58 rooms are sea facing and are equipped with a veranda, air-conditioning, en-suite bathroom with shower and bath, separate toilet, double or single beds, mini bar, hair-dryer, telephone, safe and DVD-CD player. All rooms are spacious and vary in size from 47 to 129 m².

There are 42 superior & paraplegic rooms. The 13 junior suites are situated on the first floor and the 2 senior suites are on both floors with a lounge and kitchenette. For families there is one superior family room.

The restaurant "Canelle & Paprika" offers international and Malagasy cuisine. You have the choice of a la carte and for dinners a choice of set menus. Do not hesitate to ask for a special celebration dinner. The "Toaka Mamy" bar is situated near the swimming pool and has great views over the Ambodihay Lagoon. The bar is open from 08h00 to midnight and serves snacks the whole day.

There is an air-conditioned conference centre seating 80 people cinema style. PC, internet, Satellite TV, DVD and video machine are available.

Day trips can be arranged to nearby island of Nosy Fanihy where you can spend a day just relaxing on white beaches offering awesome snorkelling.

Activities: canoeing, pedalo, volley ball, table tennis, gym and mountain bikes and massages.

Only Visa credit cards are accepted at the hotel.
Transfers are by car from the airport to the Andilana Beach in the north of Nosy Be (40 minutes) and from there to the Amarina Hotel by boat (30 minutes). This is an alternative solution because the road in the north is so bad and the new road from the airport to the Amarina Hotel is under construction.
By using the boat you will be required to wade into the water so dress appropriately and take plastic bags for your luggage.

Itinerary: 7 nights

DAY 1: Fly to Antananarivo (Tana), the lively Malagasy capital in the Central Highlands. A representative of the hotel will meet you on arrival. Transfer by car and boat to the Amarina Hotel where you will be staying for 7 nights on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis.
DAY 2: Transfer to the airport and fly to Nosy Be Island. A representative of the hotel will meet you on arrival. Transfer by car to the Chanty Beach Guest House where you will stay for six nights on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis.
DAY 8: Transfer to the airport and fly back to Antananarivo. Make your way to the international departure lounge and check in for your flight to Johannesburg.

Prices include
International (ex Johannesburg) and internal Malagasy flights, all accommodation and meals as indicated and all airport-hotel transfers.

Meals not indicated, drinks, tips to guides, porters etc., any personal expenses, travel insurance, internet access, airport taxes and visa fees.
