Saint Gilles Les Bains: Boucan Canot ****

The Boucan Cannot Hotel is situated on the stunning Boucan Canot beach in the north of Saint Gilles Les Bains.

Rooms:
There are 4 Juniors suites, 4 Seniors suites, 2 superior, 40 standard rooms. Spacious and luxurious, all rooms and suites are air-conditioned and lead on to a roomy balcony, where you can relax overlooking the sea. Tastefully decorated in three local styles : "Bois sous tôle" [Wood Cabin], "Creole" or "Marine", which harmoniously combine wood, fabrics and light to create a pleasant, gentle atmosphere of tranquillity and space. Each bathroom is equipped with twin washbasins, one bath and one shower stall. Room area is about 32m², with balcony. Suites: about 45m², with balcony and/or terrace. Breakfast can be served in your room until 10am. Other amenities: Mini-bar, air-conditioning, television, telephone, hair-dryer and electronic safe.

Bar, evening entertainment
At the bar or on the terrace, come sip a fragrant local punch, made specially for you, while you watch the sun sink into the glowing ocean. Enjoying theme evenings with egular features as Jazz - Piano - Creole songs, etc.

A meal to suit all tastes at every moment of the day, and you can feast your eyes on the sea at the same time. Gourmet restaurant: The restaurant, highly reputed as one of the island's best, offers:
Different lunch and dinner menus, with both Creole specialities and French cuisine, combining delicacy and imagination. Salad of fresh palm hearts, sea bream steak in a parmesan crust, fillet of royal dorado fish, grilled lobster, succulent desserts etc. are yet more reasons for lingering over the delights of the Indian ocean.

Itinerary: 7 nights

  • DAY 1: Fly from Johannesburg to Saint Denis/ Reunion. On arrival at Roland Garros international airport, our efficient agents will meet you and transfer you to the Boucan Canot Hotel. There, you stay for 7 nights on a bed and breakfast basis. Car rental is optional but we do recommend it highly for those who would also like to explore a bit of the island's fabulous and rugged interior.
  • DAY 8: Transfer to the airport from your hotel, in time for you to check in for the flight back to Johannesburg.

International flights (ex Johannesburg), hotel accommodation and meals as indicated, meet and greet on day of arrival and airport-hotel return transfers
