Renovation work has started and will continue until April 2009. Please note that the hotel is closed for renovations from the 19 January to the 15 Februaryt 2009.

Situated on the beach of Hermitage Les Bains, three kilometres south of Saint Gilles Les Bains, the Les Villas du Lagon Resort Hotel is set within seven hectares of private grounds. There are 23 typical Creole-style villas, each facing the lagoon. Spacious and luxurious, the entrance lounge welcomes you in an atmosphere of colonial opulence; the combination of rich, dark woods and Creole architecture setting the tone for the entire stay.  

Rooms
All rooms are tastefully decorated and comfortable. Rooms have air-conditioned bedrooms and en suite bathrooms, a hair dryer, telephone, safe, mini-bar, radio, selection of mood music, satellite TV and internet facilities. All 166 rooms and 8 suites have a sea-view, and guests can relax on their private terrace or balcony.

Standard rooms - have a floor space of 34m² including a 7m² furnished terrace or balcony. Four double rooms for handicapped guests, 20 inter-leading rooms (1 double room and 1 twin room).

Suites - 44m² of floor space (two 8m² furnished terraces or balconies). The suites have a lounge and bedroom area. They also have a stereo/CD player and a Jacuzzi-bathtub. Wooden deckchairs are provided on the lawns in front of the villas.

Restaurants
Three restaurants face the pool and lagoon: the “Orangin” serves a creative and delicate cuisine to be enjoyed in elegant surroundings and discreet atmosphere. The “Mangoustan” prides itself on its unique and ingenious buffets. The “Pipangaille”, right on the beach front, takes care of those moments of hunger throughout the day and creates an ideal location to watch sunsets over the Indian Ocean night after night. 

Conference facilities
Fully air-conditioned, the five meeting rooms have been designed as the ideal venue for your conference, training seminar or exhibition. And delegates will definitely appreciate the facilities at the Business Centre.
 
Other facilities
swimming pool - largest on the island (1 000 m²); children have their own area;
gym, massage, tennis court, badminton, water sports centre, kayaking, pedalo, children’s club and boutiques.

Payable activities
Golf (15km), helicopter trip of the Island, diving, paragliding or windsurfing.

Itinerary

DAY 1: Fly from Johannesburg to Saint Denis, Reunion. On arrival at Roland Garros International Airport you proceed through customs and immigration and make your way into the arrivals hall and to the Connections Reunion Counter. Our agents will meet you here and transfer you to Les Villas du Lagon Resort Hotel where you will be staying for 7 nights. Car rental is optional but we highly recommend it for those who would like to explore some of the island’s fabulous and rugged interior.

DAY 8: Check-out of the hotel and our representative will transfer you to the airport in time to check-in for your return flight to Johannesburg.

Pricing includes
International flights from Johannesburg with Air Austral, hotel accommodation and meals as indicated, meet and greet on day of arrival and airport/hotel return transfers.
