Having opened at the beginning of 2007, this is one of the newest deluxe properties on the island. Located in the south, this hotel is well situated for exploring the natural environs of the island while still being located on the beach. Situated in the heart of the wild southern part of the Island, surrounded by an exceptional nature park of 3,5ha and overlooking the most beautiful coral beach of the Island - Grand Anse.

Additional facilities include a spa, internet access, billiards, table tennis, golf practice area, volleyball and library. The property is 8 minutes from the town of Saint-Pierre, 20 minutes from the small airport of  Pierrefonds and one hour from the island's famous volcano.

There are 6 Villas comprising 8 rooms, 14 Junior Suites and 3 magnificent Lodges offering you the comfort and luxury of a four star hotel. The Lodges have a sea-view but none of the rooms are on the beach. Superior rooms are medium to large in size. All rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, satellite television, electronic safe, hairdryer and separate toilet and bathroom.

Two restaurants, one gastronomical, 2 swimming pool (one is heated), fitness, golf practice, conference facilities.

The Akea Spa & Beauty center with Hammam, hydro-massage, several massages room exist for your well being.

All has been thought of to offer you a unique holiday. There are many exciting discoveries in the area: like the cold lava rivers and wild southern part, the Volcano, and Cilaos.

• The bed tax is Euro 1.07/pax/day and Euro 0.54/child/day and is payable directly to the hotel.

ITINERARY - 7 nights

DAY 1: Fly from Johannesburg to Saint Denis/ Reunion. On arrival at Roland Garros International Airport proceed through customs and immigration and make your way into the arrivals hall and to the Connections Reunion Counter. Here our agents will meet and transfer you to the south of the island to Grand Anse where you will stay for 7 nights at the Palm Hotel & Spa.

Car rental is optional but we do recommend it for those who would also like to explore a bit of the island’s fabulous and rugged interior.

DAY 8: Check out of the hotel and our representative will transfer you to the airport in time to check in for your flight back to Johannesburg.

Price includes

International flights (departure from Johannesburg), hotel accommodation and meals as indicated, meet and greet on day of arrival and airport-hotel return transfers.

Not included

Visa fees, meals not indicated, drinks, tips, personal expenses, travel insurance, airport taxes and hotel taxes (+/- EUR 1/day/person).
