Chanty Beach offers a total of five air-conditioned rooms and bungalows in the grounds of a privately owned Creole villa. Bungalows and rooms have bathrooms ensuite with shower, mosquito net, telephone, safe and a terrace with deck-chairs.

Breakfast and dinners can be served in the private gazebo on the beach. Chanty Beach is remote and private. The hotel offers day excursions across the water to Nosy Sakatia. Chanty Beach is suitable for honeymooners and families. The beach is perfect for swimming.

The bungalows are situated away from the main house and offer fully equipped kitchens. (Gas stove, fridge and all kind of pots and pans, cutleries and dishes for 4 persons - no microwave).

The standard rooms are situated on the ground floor beneath the main house. Two out of the three double rooms have an equipped kitchenette (2 plate gas, fridge, cutleries and dishes for 4 persons - no microwave).

Please note:

• Shopping can be done in Hell Ville (15 km from Chanty Beach) in small stores and the market for fresh fish, vegetables and fruits.
• No credit cards accepted. Cash or traveller's cheques in EUR or USD only.

Itinerary - 7 nights

DAY 1: Fly to Antananarivo (Tana), the lively Malagasy capital in the Central Highlands. On arrival you will be met by our representative and transferred to the Hotel Relais des Plateaux for one night on bed and breakfast basis (B&B).

DAY 2: Transfer to the airport and fly to Nosy Be Island. A representative of the hotel will meet you on arrival. Transfer by car to the Chanty Beach Guest House where you will stay for six nights on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis.

DAY 8: Transfer to the airport and fly back to Antananarivo. Make your way to the international departure lounge and check in for your flight to Johannesburg.

Prices include
International (ex Johannesburg) and internal Malagasy flights, all accommodation and meals as indicated, all excursions with car and driver, guides in the reserves, entry permits and all airport-hotel transfers.

Prices Do Not include
Meals not indicated, drinks, tips to guides, porters etc., any personal expenses, travel insurance, internet access, airport taxes and visa fees, hotel taxes (+/- Euro 1/day/person).
