Situated on the south-east coast of the island, this gem of a hotel beckons those yearning for solitude and relaxation. Indulge yourself in the quiet, exquisite surroundings and feast on the sheer beauty of this unspoilt hideaway.
The 8 comfortable, charming bungalows built in Palissandre wood are simple but tastefully decorated with private terrace, en-suite bathrooms, safes and mosquito nets. There is one family bungalow with two bedrooms which can accommodate up to 4 people. All are sea-facing, scattered far apart in the lush tropical gardens close to the beachfront. Small expanse of beach but while away your days relaxing on your deck chair on the edge of a long jetty in the middle of the ocean. Swimming is possible even at low-tide off the jetty. Famous for their cuisine, lunchtime house specialities on offer as well as an extensive dinner menu offering a wide range of original exotic tastes. A gourmet’s delight….
Other facilities include: Laundry service, massage room, games. Easy access to the main discovery sites such as the sand isles, Ampanihy Bay and Andoraka Islands which can be arranged by the extremely helpful and friendly management. Deep-sea fishing and cultural tours available.
Ile Sainte Marie (Nosy Boraha), a 57 km-long island off Madagascar's east coast, is an authentic tropical island with lush vegetation interspersed with many small villages. This island is beautiful, offering the ultimate escape from civilisation. The hotels along its coast range from basic to classy establishments with all necessary modern facilities. The lush surroundings bring to mind images of an enormous tropical garden. It's ideal for honeymoon couples or anybody with a romantic bent. Ile Sainte Marie boasts numerous stunningly beautiful beaches and secluded coves, fringed with coconut palms. The coral reefs offshore offer excellent snorkelling and scuba diving. In August and September, hump-backed whales spend their time in the offshore waters.The roads beckon mountain bikers; most hotels offer bicycles for hire as well as snorkelling gear.
Itinerary - 7 nights
- DAY 1: Fly to Antananarivo, lively Malagasy capital in the Central Highlands. On arrival you will be met by our representative and transferred to the Relais des Plateaux Hotel for the night (B&B).
- DAY 2: Transfer to the airport and fly to Ile Sainte Marie. A representative of the hotel will meet you on arrival. Transfer to Boraha Village where you will be staying for five nights on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis.
- DAY 7: Transfer to the airport and fly back to Antananarivo. You will be met by our agents who will transfer you to Relais des Plateaux Hotel for the night (B&B).
- DAY 8: Check out of the hotel and transfer to the airport. Check in for your flight to Johannesburg.
Prices include
International (departure from Johannesburg with Airlink) and internal Malagasy flights, all accommodation and meals as indicated, all excursions with car and driver, guides in the reserves, entry permits and all airport-hotel transfers.

Meals not indicated, drinks, tips to guides, porters etc., any personal expenses, travel insurance, internet access, airport taxes and visa fees.
