This hotel is currently being slowly restored to its former glory and so far the rooms have been painted and redecorated with raffia wallpaper. The rooms on first floor are far nicer than the ground floor rooms. This vast hotel has only twelve rooms but each room is huge and old but all the ensuite bathrooms are clean. Some of the bathrooms have showers whilst others have the old fashioned sitting baths. The decor is very much seventies with green carpets and gaudy lounge suites. The bedrooms boast large balconies with stunning views, television but no air-conditioning or fan (remember the climate is very moderate here). There are four suites which sleep four guests comfortably. The restaurant is lovely with both inside and outside tables overlooking the pool and pretty garden. For the more energetic there is a tennis court, swimming pool, snooker table, boutique and bar. In general this hotel is a grand old lady and we found the service to be most welcoming.
