Saint Gilles Les Bains: Le Nautile ***
Le Nautile is on the beach of the Hermitage Lagoon in the heart of Saline les Bains Village. It is in an enviable location with a typical Creole atmosphere.
Rooms
All 50 rooms are decorated in pastel colours, and are equipped with a telephone, remote controlled air-conditioning, a terrace with views, TV, mini-bar and hair-dryer.
Thirty Superior rooms: some have inter-leading doors; some have baths while others have showers. Views vary from the waterfront to views of the lagoon or the mountains. Twin or double share only.
Six Salon rooms: are bigger then the superior rooms. Each room has a small lounge with armchairs, small table, mini-bar and television. A third adult can be accommodated.
Three Junior Suites: have a large bedroom which easily accommodates three adults. The living room has a small table and arm-chairs, mini-bar, sofa and large television. One of the suites has a mezzanine separating the living room from the bedroom.
Four Senior Suites: on the first and second floors. Three of the suites have sea-views of Hermitage Beach and the lagoon. Two of the suites have a large bedroom with a double and single bed and a salon with mini-bar and large television. These rooms are designed to accommodate up to four adults.
The Saint Gérant Senior Suite includes a double room with two large beds and a lounge with a mini-bar and TV. It overlooks Hermitage beach and the lagoon.
Other facilities
There is a large pool with a separate children’s pool and a huge Jacuzzi-bar (4 metres).
The restaurant serves delicious Creole and French food. A cocktail bar next to the swimming pool will introduce you to tropical drinks, “Rhum Arrange” and the famous local beer “La Dodo“.
The Library has information about Reunion’s nature, people and history.
Le Nautile has a fitness and cardio-training room equipped with techno-gym, step machine, ski machine, cycling and weights. Aqua-gym sessions are offered four times a week with a qualified trainer.
Private parking is available for the clients.
Entertainment twice a week: a barbeque and music on Tuesdays and a Creole buffet and show on Saturdays.

Reunion Saint Gilles Les Bains
Saint Gilles Les Bains is Reunion's sun, sea & sand holiday mecca. Here, you’ll find everything it takes to ensure an unforgettable holiday. The wave-dashed beach is bordered by coral reefs where you can spend your days swimming, snorkelling or diving. As Reunion is a French prefect, Saint Gilles Les Bains has a distinctly French Riviera feel about it. It is also a playground of the young French elite, who come to enjoy the tropical climate and the island’s many attractions. The nightlife in this coastal village makes it the island’s fun capital: don’t miss the bars, restaurants, taverns and nightclubs.
Saint Leu is also on Reunion’s west coast, further south than Saint Gilles. It is renowned within the surfing community for its “left hand” waves, which attract surfers from around the globe.
Itinerary
DAY 1: Fly from Johannesburg to Saint Denis, Reunion. On arrival at Roland Garros International Airport you proceed through customs and immigration and make your way into the arrivals hall and to the Connections Reunion Counter. Our agents will meet you here and transfer you to Le Nautile where you will be staying for 7 nights. Car rental is optional but we highly recommend it for those who would like to explore some of the island’s fabulous and rugged interior.
DAY 8: Check-out of the hotel and our representative will transfer you to the airport in time to check-in for your return flight to Johannesburg.
Pricing includes
International flights from Johannesburg with Air Austral, hotel accommodation and meals as indicated, meet and greet on day of arrival and airport/hotel return transfers.
Pricing excludes
Visa fees, meals not indicated, drinks, tips, personal expenses, travel insurance, airport taxes and hotel taxes (+/- Euro 1/day/person).
