After breakfast depart for Cilaos, one of the three magnificent cirques (natural amphitheatres) situated 1200 metres above sea level. Cilaos offers visitors breathtaking views of the peaks, picturesque villages along the way and is famous for its natural spas, embroidery shops, vineyards and magnificent walking trails. Take a walk to La Roche Merveilleuse and enjoy the spectacular views over the village and forests.

Have lunch at a traditional Creole restaurant where you can enjoy local cuisine including lentils, which the area is known for. In the late afternoon en route to the hotel stop at the Research Centre for Sea Turtles in Saint Leu.
