Rodrigues - Mourouk Ebony Hotel
Mourouk Ebony is set up facing the vast lagoon, streaked with various shades of blue and turquoise contrasting with the deeper blue of the winding channel and sheltering a number of desert islets. Swimming is always possible.
There are thirty comfortable rooms in chalets with en-suite bathrooms. Twenty rooms are inter-leading. Standard rooms have a minibar, air-conditioning, ceiling fans, sea view and a private terrace.
Deluxe rooms have two rooms (55m²) with telephone, TV, minibar, air conditioning, ceiling fans and tub with sea view.
The family room is on two levels. Upstairs you have two rooms (46m²) with shower, toilet, air conditioning, ceiling fans, mezzanine with office, telephone and internet access. Down stairs you will find a fully equipped kitchen, fridge, dining room, lounge, TV and DVD, telephone, air-conditioning and ceiling fans. A private terrace overlooks the swimming pool and the lagoon. Maximum 4 people.
The suite offers the same facilities as the deluxe room and the family room. Maximum 4 people.
The presidential villa stands on it's own and offers all the above facilities. Maximum 6 people.
Restaurant & bar:
Meals are served in the shelter of a vast terrace defining the attractive local architecture, overlooking pool and lagoon. The main restaurant Le Bois d'Ebène offers an exotic and refined variety of Creole dishes with a slight EURpean touch. Vegetables are organic and the seafood is fresh from the sea. The new beach restaurant Le Casier and the beach bar Poss Pesser offer a variety of fresh seafood and exotic cocktails.
Free of charge: swimming pool, bocci, archery, wind surf, canoes, skin diving equipment, various outdoor games such as beach volley ball, tennis volley, beach ball, kites, TV, video, snooker, indoor games and evening entertainment featuring the Sega Tambour.
Payable services: fun board, kite surf coursers (Windsurfing Club Osmosis), scuba diving (Club NAUI), mountain bikes, trekking, deep-sea fishing, traditional fishing and big game fishing.
There is the newly established fishing club at the Mourouk Ebony Hotel. Blue Dynamite Fishing offers some of the best specialist sports fishing in the world.
Other services: Excursions, car hire, baby sitting, massage and beauty parlour, boutique and a conference room.
Itinerary: 7 nights
- DAY 1: Fly from Johannesburg to Mauritius. Proceed through customs and collect your luggage. You will be met and transferred the Blue Lagoon Hotel (dinner, bed and breakfast).
- DAY 2: You will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Rodrigues. On arrival at the airport, our agents will meet you and arrange the transfer to the Mourouk Ebony Hotel where you will stay for 5 nights on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis.
- DAY 7: Today you will be transferred to Rodrigues airport for your scheduled flight to Mauritius. You will be met and transferred to the Blue Lagoon Hotel (dinner, bed and breakfast)
- DAY 8: Transfer to the airport and fly to back to Mauritius. Check in for your return flight to Johannesburg.

International flights (departure from Johannesburg with Air Mauritius) and flights Mauritius-Rodrigues return, hotel accommodation and meals as indicated, all airport-hotel return transfers
