Seychelles: Mahe - Le Meridien Barbarons: ****
Set in the crystal white sandy bay of Barbarons, Le Meridien Barbarons reopened in 2005, as a four star resort. The completely refurbished resort features 124 rooms, in contemporary interior décor, furniture of soft wood, flowing fabrics and a balcony or terrace. Bathroom showers and bath are of an open design, with thick curtain rails allowing privacy from the bed area.
Accommodation:
There are 71 Standard Garden View rooms (35 m² - 13 of these are connecting & 2 are handicapped suitable rooms. Located on the ground and first floors with centralised air-conditioning, mini bar, electronic safe, TV with Satellite Channels, high speed internet access, digital telephone, hair dryer, make up mirror, all rooms with bath tub and standard amenities (shower gel, soap and shampoo).
The 38 Superior Ocean View rooms (33 m²) - (8 connecting) are located on the first floor. Same amenities as standard rooms plus a bath, tea & coffee facilities, Hermes product (soap, eau de Cologne, foam bath, robe, slippers, fruit basket and a bottle of water.
The 11 Deluxe Beach front View rooms (33 m²) - (1 interconnecting) are located on the first floor and offer the same amenities as Superior room plus beach front view & best Location, 29 inch Television, DVD Player, complete set of amenities (tooth brush, shaving kid, etc.), VIP arrival treatment, fruit basket & bottle of wine.
The 4 Suite Ocean View (64 m²) - (all connecting to Superior) are located on the first floor and offer the same amenities as Deluxe room plus plasma screen in living room and sleeping room, home theatre and expresso coffee machine.
Restaurant & Bars:
Le Mangrovia Restaurant
Located in the main building of the hotel, the buffet restaurant with 6 live cooking station, serves breakfast and dinner, of local & International cuisine.
Capacity: 160 persons
Opening hours are from 7 to 10 am for breakfast & 7.30to 10.00 pm (last order) for dinner.
La Cocoteraie Restaurant
Located in the heart of the hotel near the beach, the a la carte restaurant overlooks the beautiful Barbarons Beach and offers light lunches and Creole & Mediterranean style fine cuisine during the evenings.
Capacity : 60 persons.
Opening hours : Lunch: from 12.30 am - 05.00 pm; Dinner: Monday to Saturday, 07 to10.00 pm
La Patchouli Bar
The hotel's bar serves refreshing beverages, cocktails, after dinner drinks and cigars.
Opening hours are from 8.30 am to midnight
The Roof Deck
This new top level wooden roof deck offers comfortable sitting and relaxing arrangements, as well as a Jacuzzi on deck. Enjoy sunset cocktails and barbecues in the evenings, over a magnificent view of Barbarons beach with classical music and our bar team will serving tropical cocktails and other beverages from 5.30 pm until 11 pm.
Lobby Service
The lobby area with water features offer a relaxed elegant setting overlooking the beach. Refreshing cocktails, cold and hot beverages, light snacks, pre- and after dinner drinks are served throughout the day until midnight.
Conference & Business
A new business centre will provide fast and efficient service with high speed internet access, printer, scanner, fax and photocopy service on request.
Opening hours are from 8 am to 10.30 pm.
WIFI (wireless LAN) will also be accessible in all public areas.
La Veranda conference room

A variety audio-visual equipments are provided at a cost and tailor made events are organized to suit your requirements.
Senses health Club & Spa
Among the extensive changes to the renovation will be the addition of Senses - an entirely new Spa, with steam bath, rooms offering a variety of beauty treatments, double massage rooms, and a gym.
Children's Club
The Penguin Club for children aged between 6 to 12 years old will be free of charge.

Baby sitting facilities on request. Guests are requested to pre-booking the service 24 hours in advance.

Fresh water outdoor Swimming Pool (25 meters) with wooden sun deck, towel service, chairs and parasol, separate children's fresh water outdoor pool, 2 tennis courts, canoes, pedalos, water polo, aqua gym, beach volley ball, ping pong, snorkelling.
A variety of activities are also available at a charge, at close proximity to the hotel, such as golf, PADI diving and deep sea fishing.

- DAY 1: Fly from Johannesburg to Mahe, Seychelles biggest island. At the airport our agents will meet and transfer to the Hotel Le Meridien Barbarons where you will be staying for 7 nights on a bed and breakfast basis
- DAY 8: Transfer to the airport and check in for your flight back to Johannesburg.
