Seychelles: Praslin - La Reserve Hotel ****
This charming hotel is located on a secluded private beach at Anse Petite Cour on the north west side of Praslin in the midst of a large tropical garden. Sheltered by the surrounding hills and the nearby island of Curieuse, the calm and shallow bay with its turquoise waters and coral reef offer an ideal place for swimming and snorkelling all year around.
Set in a 200 acre estate of beautiful gardens, the accommodation provides individually decorated rooms all giving a Creole feel with local artists' paintings adorning the walls, king size four poster beds and wooden furniture coupled with the amenities of modern day including satellite television, air-conditioning, ceiling fans, mini bar, tea and coffee facilities, safe and hair dryers.
The 8 superior rooms are placed in either of the two colonial style buildings, one on the hillside, the other directly on the beach. The 32 new deluxe rooms, all on the beach, are beautifully designed with an abundance of space and extensive bathrooms with sunken baths and walk-in showers. A supplement is applicable for the seafront rooms.
The dining choice is extensive and varied. The highlight is The Jetty Restaurant, giving one of the most memorable dinner experiences. Guests watch the lights of anchored yachts in the bay and the natural aquarium of the fish below as the chef creates delectable dishes from freshly caught fish, Creole barbeque rich in spices to a wide ranging International menu from an open kitchen.
Surrounded by coconut palms and wrapped around the William's Pool Bar with granite boulders, is the unique swimming pool. Guests can swim to the bar for that freshly squeezed fruit drink or alcoholic cocktail or simply order from their chaise longue fresh fish, grilled meat or a salad from our Pool Grill, an ideal spot for lunch.
La Reserve offers excursions on Praslin and the neighbouring islands. All rates include afternoon tea including cakes and sandwiches, live music entertainment (3 times a week), weekly sunset cruise and discovery cruise (lunch excluded), excursion to Sister/Coco Island (lunch excluded).
Other hotel amenities: boutique, conference room, business centre with internet facilities, massages on request, entertainment three times a week and scuba diving can be arranged.

Itinerary: 7 nights
- DAY 1:Depart from Johannesburg International Airport for your flight to the Seychelles. On arrival at the airport in Mahe, our agents will meet you and assist with the check in for your flight to Praslin Island.Transfer to La Reserve Hotel where you will be staying for 7 nights on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis.
- DAY 8: Transfer to the airport and check in for your return flight to Mahe and flight back to Johannesburg.
