Zanzibar - Bawe Island ****
Bawe Island is a small exclusive island situated 35 minutes from Stone Town by speedboat. Offering 15 beach chalets all with en suite bathrooms (baths and showers), hot water, ceiling fans and mosquito nets. The island has electricity and generator. Each chalet has a deck overlooking the ocean. The restaurant offers international and traditional Swahili cuisine.
After a sumptuous meal sit and watch the stars whilst enjoying a cocktail at the Full moon Bar candlelight. The fresh water swimming-pool offers a welcome respite from the heat. The island has a small boutique offering local crafts.
Please note:
- Children under 16 years are not accepted at the hotel.
- Christmas and New Yea’s supplements are included in our rates
- All inclusive includes dinner, bed, breakfast and lunch. Drinks from 10h00 to 24h00 which include coffee, tea, water, soft drinks, juices, non-alcoholic cocktails and local beers.
- A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required at the time of reservation in order to confirm the booking.
- Only cash payments are accepted in Bawe, as there are no credit card facilities.
Itinerary - 7 nights
- DAY 1: Fly from Johannesburg to Zanzibar with Air Tanzania. Transfer to Bawe Island by car and then by boat where you will be staying for 7 nights on a fully inclusive basis.
- DAY 8: Transfer to the airport and check in for your return flight to Johannesburg.
Prices include:
International flights (departure from Johannesburg), hotel accommodation and meals as indicated and all airport-hotel transfers
Not included:
Visa fee, meals not indicated, drinks, tips, personal expenses, fuel, travel insurance and airport taxes
