Zanzibar - Zamani Zanzibar Kempinski *****
The Zamani Zanzibar Kempinski hotel located on the northeast coast of Zanzibar approximately 60 minutes drive from Stone Town is very unique in comparison to many of the other hotels on Zanzibar. Offering a kilometre of ocean frontage and nestled in 30 acres of landscaped gardens the Zamani Zanzibar Kempinski offers 110 guest rooms, suites and 7 villas set in clusters.
Rooms, Suites & Villas:

Zamani Suite (10):
Located on the first floor of the accommodation cluster, the Zamani Suites are 99sqm in size. Divided into two large spacious rooms, one being the living and dining area and the other the master bedroom with en suite bathroom. The spacious tropical bathrooms feature a deep soaking tub, rainforest-like shower and a separate lavatory. The bathroom also features a delightful tropical courtyard with outdoor shower, his and hers basins and floods of natural light.
The suite has two private balconies, one off the living/dining area and the other off the master bedroom. Internal stairs lead to a very large private roof top sun terrace with sun loungers. The Zamani Suite can accommodate 2 adults and 2 Children (additional beds).
Terrace Room (40):
Located on the first floor of the accommodation clusters, the Terrace room is 45sqm in size. The spacious tropical bathroom features a deep soaking tub, rainforest-like shower and a separate toilet. The bathroom also features a special tropical courtyard with outdoor shower, his and hers basins and floods of natural light. The lovely bedroom with Queen-size bed opens onto a private balcony and internal stairs that lead to your very own private roof top sun terrace with sun loungers.
Garden Room (60):
Located on the ground floor of the accommodation cluster, the Garden room is 45sqm in size. With a spacious bedroom/sitting room area and a large ensuite bathroom which houses a separate bath, toilet, indoor shower and tropical outdoor shower. The room has a private outdoor terrace with table and chairs.
Zanzibar Villa:
Also known as the Presidential villa, this magnificent 3 bedroom, 300sqm villa is pure luxury. Discretely isolated from the rest of the hotel, privacy is absolutely guaranteed. The villa opens onto an expansive sitting room and dining area, with a kitchen, two guest rooms with en suite bathrooms and a very spacious master bedroom with its own lavish en suite. At the front is a huge private outdoor terrace with a 20-meter infinity swimming pool and spectacular entertainment area. Private access to a white sandy beach is just meters away. The Zanzibar Villa comes with its own fully equipped kitchenette, complimentary soft drinks and 24 hour Butler service, who will serve you complimentary champagne and canapés each evening at sunset. The Zanzibar Villa can accommodate up to 6 Adults and 4 children.
Pemba Villa:
Zamani’s two-bedroom villa is located on the edge of a cliff directly over looking the azure blue waters of the Indian Ocean. The 250 square meter villa includes two double bedrooms each with uninterrupted sea-views; a separate living room with wide sliding-glass doors opening onto a large sun deck and infinity swimming pool, with its water seeming to cascade into the sea below; a fully fitted kitchenette complete with complimentary soft drinks and 24 hour butler service. The villa’s interior design and furnishings are in classic Zanzibari style with artwork adorning the walls from renowned local artists. The master bedroom features a king-size canopied bed, side tables, sliding glass doors that give way to screen and glass doors and unimpeded views. The spacious en suite bathroom comes with a separate shower, large bathtub and twin vanities looking onto a private tropical courtyard garden. The guest bedroom is very similar to the master bedroom in design and furnishings, and also houses a spacious en suite bathroom which looks onto a tropical courtyard garden. Each night at sunset, your Butler will serve you complimentary champagne and canapés. The Pemba Villa Can accommodate up to 4 Adults and 2 children.
One Bedroom Villas:
Zamani has 5 one bedroom villas. Each of these 150 m2 villas is spacious, contemporary style and filled with natural light. Each villa is set within its own tropical garden with panoramic views over the Indian Ocean. The one bedroom villas consist of a master bedroom with en suite bathroom, which looks out onto a tropical private courtyard garden. A large lounge/dining room with sliding doors which open onto a private sun deck and your very own infinity swimming pool. A fully equipped kitchenette with complimentary soft drinks and butler service is available on request. Each of the one bedroom villas has its very own character and name, while their artwork, as well as some of the individually selected decorative items, are inspired by the name of the villa. The One Bedroom Villas can accommodate either up to 3 Adults, or 2 Adults and 2 Children.
This hotel also offers a world class health spa “The Anantara Health and Beauty Spa”, games Room, downstairs lounge, private jetty, two restaurants, three bars, an array of private dining options, gift and jewellery shops, fitness centre and two swimming pools. Offering a variety of water sports and leisure activities from snorkelling and diving to sailing, cycling, tennis and reef walks. Restaurants and Bars:
The Zamani Zanzibar Kempinski provides a unique culinary experience, boasting two restaurants, three bars and a variety of private dining options. Our dine-around options change daily and include Beach BBQ’s, poolside dinners with a traditional bonfire and dinner buffets on the Jetty.
Activities:
Zamani Beach Club: An exclusive 800 m long private beach with powder white sand, crystal clear water, and lush palm groves in the background. Guests enjoy one of the best beaches in Zanzibar while they are also offered the following options for activities on request: Beach Volleyball / Soccer / Basket Ball / Badminton
Water Sports: Sailing, kayak, windsurfing, reef walk and snorkelling. There is a PADI Scuba Diving Centre and deep sea fishing.
Other activities offered: Cycling, beach picnics, dhow sunset champagne cruise, tennis, leisure pools and games
Sinbad Kids Club: The kids club offers games and fun for the children. An outside area with swings, slides, a see-saw and jungle gym is available. For the children who prefer to be indoor children are kept busy with painting, games, puzzles and many more. An activity schedule is available for daily events.
Fitness: Located on the ground floor of the Anantara Spa, out fitness centre are for guests who are seeking more sportive activities. Our facilities include cardiovascular and strength training equipment, as well as a 23 meter outdoor lap pool. Situated in the change rooms are two Saunas (male and female). Music, fresh towels and water are provided.
Anantara Spa: Located within the hotel is a sanctuary for the mind, body and soul. The Anantara Spa Zanzibar consists of 6 private treatment rooms, 2 outdoor Thai massage pavilions, a 23 metre outdoor lap pool with sun deck, a Fitness Centre with sauna and steam rooms.

Itinerary: 7 nights
- DAY 1: Fly from Johannesburg to Zanzibar with Air Tanzania. Transfer to the Zamani Kempinski where you will be staying for 7 nights on dinner, bed and breakfast basis.
- DAY 8: Transfer to the airport and check in for your return flight to Johannesburg.
